In Seattle, the opportunities are endless. You can visit a city winery or head to the mountain vines. There are beautiful vistas all around you and some great wines to go along. Let us start our list with the most popular and powerful winery in the region, Chateau Ste Michelle. The estate has a lovely Chateau in the middle of its perfectly pruned lawn. During the summer, you can enjoy many music festivals along with the fine wine sold at the venue. The Chateau is truly a journey back in time.

If you love Merlot, you have to visit this home-grown Ste Michelle Wine Estates’ Northstar Winery. Their black grape wine from 2005 defeated five of the famous Bordeaux region wineries. The winery is surrounded by 14 acres of vineyards and has the Blue mountains as the background. Their wine flights and Mediterranean picnic platters are amazing.

If you are visiting Chateau Ste. Michelle, you have to make time to visit their next-door neighbour Novelty Hill/Januik. They have a very modern tasting room and are famous for their award-winning collection of reds and whites. Apart from the vinos, they also make great oven fired pizza on the weekends. Check their timings before you go since it is open only for a couple of hours.
